Students and faculty gathered to celebrate an annual tradition in late September, welcoming alumni back to campus for open conversation in a question-and-answer format with current students.
The Homecoming Alumni Panel is one of two yearly events (the other being the Spring semester Psi Chi honorary society induction and speaker event) for which students receive colloquium credit in the major. PSYC solicits feedback from students in “attendance comment forms” at these events. By examining these forms every year, we know – aside from the lively give-and-take that each event generates! – that our students truly gain from having these conversations.
